Sadanobu made more than thirty woodblock prints featuring flowers and (or) birds. Twenty-seven examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. To make these prints Sadanobu borrowed from designs by Hiroshige Utagawa (prints 1-13), Sūgakudō Nakayama (prints 14-25) and Utamaro Kitagawa (prints 26-27). The latter artists drew flowers and birds in a semi-accurate way to entertain print viewers. To see their original designs click here.
